Our Philosophy
Hedgewood Farm is a family-oriented farm on the beautiful North Fork of Lond Island. We offer English lessons, boarding, showing, leasing, and camps for all ages. We pride ourselves on our personal involvement with each client, and treat our riders, clients and boarders as if they are part of the family.
Head Trainer, Dawn Hommel
Barn Manager/Head Instructor Dawn Hommel has been riding her whole life, and became a professional at 18. Since then, she has been involved in all aspects of the local equestrian world, from training green horses and competing at A-rated shows nationwide to teaching beginner lessons and coaching at local, regional and national shows.
